And to the exhibition page at Craft. And to Craft Collector where some of our products are for sale.

Opening Night
The exhibition was opened by the lovely Phip Murray and most of the artists were able to be there to celebrate. It was wonderful to see people enjoying the space, and we got a lot of great feedback. Thanks to all who came along. Photos from the opening night courtesy of Matthew Lynn and Craft.

Workshops
We will be running two workshops during the exhibition at Craft.
Phenokistoscope
Phenokistoscope
A phenokistoscope is an early animation device, back when animation was as much a handcraft as knitting or embroidery. Discs are specially cut and divided into even sections and a sequence of images is added to them which becomes a moving image when spun.
Participants will be creating animated sequences using various techniques: embroidery, appliqué, crochet, knitting or collage. Whatever your favourite handcraft is, you can make a sequence onto one of Dell and Isobel’s templates. Finished sequences are invited to be part of the exhibition, and will be played on the phenokistoscope machine at Craft in Gallery 1.
11am-3pm Saturday 9 November 2013
Craft, 31 Flinders Lane, Melbourne
$50 Craft members / $100 non-members
BOOK ONLINE or call on 9650 7775
Stellar Exchange
Learn how to weave an 8 point star with Maryann Talia Pau, Dell Stewart and Kate Matthews, similar to the ones used in their animation collaboration. Take home your star (just in time for Christmas) or donate them to the stellar installation called '1 Million Stars to End Violence' for The Big Design Market at The Royal Exhibition Building Dec 6, 7 & 8. For more info, visit www.onemillionstars.net and for workshop details and bookings, contact Craft.
